When you walk through the door of Shillingstone School you will know immediately that this is a caring and inclusive school where everybody feels welcome.
With strong staff parent partnerships and a varied and engaging curriculum, children are motivated to achieve their full potential.
When pupils leave the school, it is with happy memories of their primary education and an enthusiasm for future learning.
Every child in our school has a log on for Mathletics. It is a great online learning program which supports our children in their maths learning.
Last academic year (2017/18), our children achieved really well on Mathletics.
Please encourage your child to use Mathletics at home. As well as completing activities linked to the National Curriculum, there are some great games to play too! These are all beneficial in supporting the children with developing and improving their maths skills.

Lots of the children attended the 'Music Mash Up' festival in Canford Magna. The children took part in a range of activities including violins and African drumming. They also got to see lots of live music performances including a beat boxer and The Jive Aces from Britain's Got Talent! The children had a fun-filled day and even had time to relax in our 'tent' just like at a real festival!
Congratulations to both of our teams who entered the Pyramid Aquathlon on Thursday 28th June. Eddie, Will, Lucas and Tom were placed 3rd with only 5 second between them and the winning team. Well done also to Zoe, Georgia, Neve and Ruby. Both teams worked brilliantly as a team - the timer was stopped once the last member of the team crossed the finish line. Well done to you all!
