I moved to Okeford Fitzpaine from Frome in June 2018 and started working at Okeford Fitzpaine Primary School as a School Secretary covering maternity leave, I also work as Clerk to the Governors there. When the vacancy came up in Shillingstone Primary School I was really excited to continue working within a school and support the staff and children to be the best they can be. I hope to get to know you all better as I settle into the role. I work at Shillingstone Primary on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays.
I have worked in school offices since 2006. At Shillingstone Primary, I work alternate Wednesdays, as well as every Thursday and Friday. I thoroughly enjoy my job and the challenges it brings. I live in a nearby village with my husband and our son. Outside of school I like walking our dog, reading and TV dramas.
I have been involved with Shillingstone Primary School for over 20 years, first as a parent and member of the PTA, then as a lollipop lady and finally as a hot school meal supervisor and cleaner. Out of school, I enjoy reading and spending time with my grandson.
I joined the staff at Shillingstone Primary as Caretaker/Handyperson in September 2014. I have two sons who are at the school. In my spare time, I am a whitewater kayaker and coach and can be found at the Stour Valley Canoe Club most Saturday mornings.
