I have been the School Administrator/Finance Officer here at Shillingstone Primary for 18 years, where my responsibilities include being front of house aswell as dealing with the administration and finance of the school. I have really enjoyed working with and getting to know both the children and families who have passed through the school - some of the early ones are now coming back as parents!!. I have recently cut my hours to 3 days a week and share the job with Mrs Helen Sharpe, which is giving me a chance to enjoy my other interests including gardening, helping on the farm at home and of course spending time with my family (especially my grandchildren) and friends.
I have recently joined Shillingstone Primary School as Mrs Jane Stickland's job share but have worked in a school office for almost 8 years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and the challenges it brings. I live in a nearby village with my partner and our son. Outside of school, I like walking and pilates.
I have been involved with Shillingstone Primary School for 20 years, first as a parent and member of the PTA, then as a lollipop lady and finally as a hot school meal supervisor and cleaner. Out of school, I enjoy reading and spending time with my grandson.
My name is Lesley Bell. I was a volunteer at Shillingstone Primary School for 2 years until I got the job as lunchtime supervisor and cleaner in 2012. I have 2 daughters; one who is currently in Year 4 at this school and the other is now in Year 9 at Sturminster Newton High School. In my spare time I like reading and going for walks by the sea.
I joined the staff at Shillingstone Primary as Caretaker/Handyperson in September 2014. I have a son who is at the school. In my spare time I am a whitewater kayaker and coach and can be found at the Stour Valley Canoe Club most saturday mornings.
