This week our learner of the week is Ryan. Ryan has really impressed us this week with his positive attitude towards his learning. He has worked particularly hard in his letters and sounds and with his reading too! Ryan is really seeing his efforts pay off! Well done Ryan.
Year 1: This week Charlie is our learner of the week. I have been very impressed with Charlie's improved attitude during our maths lessons. He has worked hard to improve his knowledge of subtraction, working independently to complete his task. Keep up the hard work Charlie!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Meg. Meg has demonstrated amazing perseverance over the last couple of weeks during our maths lessons. She has now mastered subtracting two 2-digit numbers. Well done Meg!
Year 3: Our year 3 learner of the week is Ned. Ned has worked really hard this week particularly in maths where we have been working on the 3, 4 and 8 times tables. Ned has consistently tried his hardest in lessons and produced some brilliant work. Well done Ned!
Year 4: Our year 4 learner of the week is Hazel. Hazel’s attitude towards her work is outstanding. In every lesson, Hazel can be found ‘head down,’ working hard. She always challenges herself and produces work to be extremely proud of. Well done Hazel.
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Joshy. Joshy has impressed me in our Numeracy lessons this week with the commitment that he has shown to keeping his presentation neat and using his time effectively. He is persevering much more when faced with a challenging question, which is pleasing to see also. Well done Joshy. Keep this up.
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Ryan H. Ryan has edited his flashback narrative (based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) effectively this week: he has added a sentence in the passive form and used colons and semi-colons within a list. Ryan has shown what he is really capable of and now must keep it up!
