Our learner of the week is Gracie. Gracie has been working very hard this week with her number work. She has been trying hard and showing us a real "have a go" attitude towards her learning. Gracie has been solving number problems and adding 1 more to a number to 10. It is really good to see all of her hard work paying off. Well done Gracie!

Year 1: This week Elinor is our learner of the week. Elinor has worked really hard on her writing this week. She has been willing to 'have a go' and has persevered when she found it difficult. Keep up the hard work Elinor!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Harvey-Jo. I have been very impressed with Harvey-Jo's 'have a go' attitude across all areas of the curriculum. Well done Harvey-Jo!

Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Hazel. Earlier in the week, some of the key stage 2 children had a hockey lesson. During this, Hazel went in goal against three year 6 boys. I was so impressed that she was up for the challenge and really ‘gave it a go.’ What a fantastic example she set for the other children. Well done Hazel!

Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Olivia. I have been really impressed with Olivia’s writing this week. She has worked incredibly hard to include everything that I have asked of her. She has ‘given everything a go’ and not been afraid to get it wrong. Well done!

Year 5:

Eve is our learner of the week. In our computing lesson, she was hesitant to work by herself but she had a go. Eve, this was good to see and you learned new skills in doing so. Well done!

Busy is also learner of the week. Busy has made good progress in our maths lessons this week, learning about percentages. She was observed explaining to her peers how to work out an answer which was supportive. Well done Busy.

Year 6: Alfie is our learner of the week. He has achieved really well in our maths lessons this week, showing a good understanding of percentages. Alfie was willing to have a go at the greater depth task to extend his learning further. Well done Alfie!
