Reception: Well done Pippa, you are the Learner of the Week this week.  When working with Mrs Whitehouse-Sharpe this morning, you were able to find the biggest and smallest number from a random set of digit cards and find the missing numbers in-between.  It was lovely to observe!  Well done!


Year 1: This week Annie is our learner of the week. I have been so impressed with Annie's 'have a go' attitude this week. When she has found tasks difficult, she has persevered and completed them. Well done Annie!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Charlie. I have been very impressed with Charlie's attitude towards his learning. When solving problems using fractions, he showed great perseverance and completed the task. During our independent writing this morning, he carefully though about what he needed to include. Keep up the hard work Charlie!


Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Toby. Toby has been working really hard over the last couple of weeks on his concentration. I have been particularly impressed with Toby this morning; he has tried hard to earn his focus points and has produced some excellent work! Keep it up!

Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Raife. This week we have been learning about decimals which is something that is quite tricky. Despite this, Raife has tried really hard and is always keen to work his way up the learning ladder. Well done Raife!


Year 5: We have two learners of the week: Albie and Thomas.

Albie showed great perseverance in our computing lesson; he was determined to complete the task using a program called Flowol 2 - an older version of this software and therefore trickier to use! Well done Albie!

Thomas is also our learner of the week. We have been really impressed with Thomas’s speech this week. He is recognising the letters that make sounds and has been using them independently.

Year 6: Tom is our learner of the week. He worked hard in our Science lesson this week, checking his features checklist to ensure he included lots of aspects from this in his writing. Well done Tom - you were focussed and really tried hard to write a good first draft.
