Reception: Our Learner of the week is Ryan.  He has worked really hard on learning his letter sounds.  During a 'hunt the sound' game he was able to recognise and say all the sounds he was shown.  He was then able to lead his group to find and write the sounds.  Well done Ryan, fantastic learning this week.

Year 1: This week Charlie is our learner of the week. Charlie has been an absolute star this week! He comes in in the morning with a smile on his face and then completes all of his spellings. He is also listening carefully on the carpet. Keep up the hard work!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Samuel. Your independent writing this week has been amazing! You are thinking carefully about what to write as well as remembering finger spaces and punctuation. Well done Samuel!

Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is George. Since joining Year 3, I have been really impressed with George’s ‘Have a Go Gorilla’ attitude. In all subjects, George tries hard and gives everything a go meaning he has produced some excellent work. Well done George!

Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Verity. Verity has shown excellent qualities of a ‘Persevering Parrot’ over the past few weeks. She is trying her best in all subjects and always tries her best even if something is a bit tricky. Well done Verity!

Year 5: Sydney and Matilda are both our learners of the week. They have been great 'Have a GO' gorillas this week in our Numeracy lessons. Both, Sydney and Matilda, have completed lots of fantastic calculations, using formal column methods for addition and subtraction. Brilliant maths girls! Well done to you both.

Year 6: Ruby is our learner of the week. Her final draft of her diary entry for the Incredible Book-Eating Boy was superb. She really captured the tone of the writing and produced a really engaging piece. Great writing Ruby! Well done.
