Learners of the Week

Jungle Class

Our Learner of the week is Seth.

Seth has tried really hard this week with his letter sounds. He always joins in and is eager to do well. Seth is also a very kind and helpful friend and makes sure all his friends are happy, helping them to join in with his games.

Well done, you have had a fantastic week.

Woodland Class

Year 1

This week our learner of the week is Isabelle. I was very impressed with Isabelle’s work in Literacy this morning. She worked diligently ordering instructions on ‘How to make a Jam Sandwich’. Well done! 

Year 2 

Our Year 2 learner of the week is Erin. I have been very impressed with your positive and mature attitude towards your learning this week. You are listening carefully and trying your best in all your work. Well done!

Ocean Class

Year 3

This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Ella. I have been so impressed with Ella’s attitude this week, particularly in maths. She has been trying incredibly hard and working her way up through the maths tasks. 

Year 4

Congratulations to Eve who is our Year 4 learner of the week. Eve has been working really hard to improve her handwriting and her work has certainly paid off! Well done Eve!

Desert Class

Year 5

Our learner of the week is Eddie. Eddie has become much more independent in his learning and is not afrtaid to tackle any learning challenge. He is also a very enthusiastic learner as well as being very helpful in the classroom. 

Year 6

Our learner of the week is Chloe. Chloe is becoming much more confident and independent in all areas of the curriculum, but particularly in maths. She is also much more confident when helping other children and adults around the school.

Jungle Class

Our Learner of the Week is Theodore. Theodore worked very hard this week especially with his writing.  He always tries very hard and is able to write his own name and sound out other words too!  He is always willing to join in with activities and try his best.  Well done, you have had a fantastic week.

Woodland Class

Year 1 

This week our Learner of the week is George for working hard on his WOW write this morning. George described Mr Wuffles using a range of adjectives and remembering punctuation. Well done George!

Year 2

Our Year 2 learner of the week is Seb. It has not gone unnoticed how hard you have worked this week. You are listening carefully and as a result are producing some fantastic work. Keep it up!

Our Learner of the Week is Maemi.  She has a really strong desire to do well in all areas of the curriculum and is able to show good progression in her work.  She is a lively and helpful member of Class 4.

Jungle Class

Samir worked really hard this morning on the phoneme f/ff. We listened to the story of the Three Little Pigs and he was then able to write the words ‘huff’ and ‘puff’ independently. Well done Samir!

Woodland Class

Year 1

This week our learner of the week is Harvey-Jo. Harvey-Jo has shown a positive attitude to his learning all week. He’s listening carefully and giving 100% effort in all that he does. Well done Harvey-Jo, keep up the hard work!

Year 2

Our Year 2 learner of the week is Hazel. I have been very impressed with your work across all areas of the curriculum this week. You have been an absolute super star! 

Ocan Class

Year 3

Our Year 3 learner of the week is Sammy. He has had a fantastic week! He has been listening carefully, putting his hand up and trying hard in all lessons. Well done Sammy!

Year 4

Our Year 4 learner of the week is Ruby. I am so impressed with Ruby's attitude towards her writing. She is always looking for ways to improve it and produces excellent work as a result.

Desert Class

Year 5

Our learner of the week is Ben. He is settling really well into Year 5 and has made super progress so far. Ben is an independent learner and sets high standards for himself. He is always friendly, helpful and cheerful.

Year 6

Our Year 6 learner of the week is Sophie. Sophie is a really positive influence in Year 6 and has a very strong improvement ethic. She is kind and helpful to all members of our school family.

Jungle Class

Our Learner of the Week is Meg. Meg has really impressed this week with her teamwork and attitude towards group activities. During a PE session, Meg worked as part of a team and encouraged others to work together to achieve a group objective. Well done Meg, you have had a fantastic week!

Woodland Class

Year 1 and Year 2

Our Learners of the Week are Charlie and Antonia. In Woodland Class we held a competition to see how many times we could bounce a ball in a hoop for their partner to catch. Charlie and Antonia worked cooperatively and managed to bounce and catch the ball (without dropping it) 23 times in 30 seconds! Well done!

Ocean Class

Year 3 and Year 4

Our Learners of the Week are Matilda and Georgia. Ocean Class held a competition to see who could devise the best gymnastics sequence. Matilda and Georgia showed fantastic teamwork whilst working on their sequence. They managed to include all of the required elements and gave a wonderful performance. Well done girls!

Desert Class

Year 5

Our Learner of the Week is Will.  He has made, improved and performed an excellent dance routine on his own, incorporating spinning, moon walking and jazz dance moves.  He won the overall Class 4 dance competition as 'The One and Only.'

Year 6

Our Learners of the Week are:  Liam, Lukas, Adam, Rupert, Henry and Sam.  Working as a team, these boys known as 'The Fancy Foes', created and improved a stylish and snappy dance routine involving street dance and collaborative work.
