Reception: Our Learner of the week is Mackenzie. He worked with great perseverance and concentration to create a model using a picture to copy. Mackenzie was very proud of the result and so he should be! Well done Mackenzie.
Year 1: This week Mollie is our learner of the week. Mollie wrote some amazing sentences this week, remembering to include capital letters, full stops and adjectives. Well done Mollie!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Harley. I have been very impressed with your determination this week, especially in our Maths lessons. Keep up the hard work Harley!
Year 3: Our year 3 learner of the week is Molly. Molly has tried really hard this week to focus on her own work and not worry about what others are doing. This has helped her to produce some excellent work. Well done Molly, keep it up!
Year 4: Our year 4 learner of the week is Ryan. Ryan has worked incredibly hard in literacy this week when writing character descriptions. He has worked hard to include all of the elements from the learning ladder and is using beautiful handwriting. Well done Ryan!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Ella. Ella worked hard on her Literacy writing this week. She thought carefully about her vocabulary and adjective choices. Well done Ella.
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Thomas. Thomas has been working really hard on his handwriting. It is neat and his letters are well formed. Well done Thomas.
Reception: This week our learner of the week is Jude! Jude has had a very busy week and has shown great concentration during his number work. We have been ordering numbers and Jude was able to do this with some very big numbers and even spotted numbers that were missing too! Well done Jude.
Year 1: This week Toby is our learner of the week. Toby has been thinking very carefully about writing in sentences this week. He is remembering to include punctuation and is using his phonetic knowledge to spell the words. Keep up the hard work Toby!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Valerie. I have been impressed with Valerie's writing this week. She is thinking about her sentences before she starts writing and is beginning to include punctuation. Well done Valerie!
Year 3: This week’s learner of the week is Eli. He worked really hard in Science today learning about the names and functions of human teeth. He produced a lovely poster displaying his scientific knowledge. Well done Eli!
Year 4: Congratulations Erin, you are this week’s learner of the week. You were really focussed in the Maths lesson this morning when we went through the arithmetic paper. You offered help to others with sums they were finding challenging and you were offering your answers throughout. Well done!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Nathan. Nathan has been really focussed during our assessments this week. He has worked hard and thought carefully about his answers. Well done Nathan!
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Georgia. I have been impressed with Georgia’s ‘Have a Go’ attitude this week. She really wants to achieve her very best in everything she does and has shown good perseverance this week in the assessment tests. Well done Georgia!
Our learners of the week this week are Rosa and Alfie. Rosa has done really well during her dancing sessions and is able to dance on her own, remembering all of the steps, and with a partner! Well done Rosa.
Alfie has put a huge amount of effort into his basketball lessons recently. This has really paid off as he has shown some fantastic ball skills! Well done Alfie.

Year 4: Our year 4 learner of the week is Jess. I have been really impressed with her attitude towards her work recently. She is developing a very mature attitude towards her learning and working extremely hard. Well done Jess!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Olivia B. She has been working really hard on her handwriting. Olivia is joining her letters well and writing with a consistent size. She is now using a pen to write with in some class work. Well done Olivia!
Year 6: We have two learners of the week: Ava and Isobel. They both have had a really good first term in Year 6 and have worked really hard. Both girls have shown good commitment to their learning and are achieving well in our lessons. Well done to you both. Keep this up!

Our learners of the week are: Jenson, Aksharan, Gracie, Daisy (Year 4) and George (Year 3). This week all of these children have been working with me to produce a piece of writing based on the book 'The Lost Happy Endings.' They have had a long list of things to include within their writing and have worked really hard to do so. I am so impressed with their finished pieces. Well done!
