Learners of the Week

Parrot Class

Kara is our Learner of the Week. She wrote a sentence using her sound knowledge. She used finger spaces and a full stop. Well done Kara!

Kingfisher Class

Liam P is making good progress in all areas and this week he has really stood out for trying his best with his writing, maths and reading. It's great to see him so enthusiastic about his learning. Keep up the good work, Liam!

Falcon Class

Learner of the Week in Falcon Class is Joanne. Joanne is working really hard to meet her targets and is completing extra work at home. She wrote some fantastic instructions for the Big Write, remembering to include time connectives and imperative verbs! Well done Joanne, keep up the hard work!

Owl Class

Our Learners of the Week are Sophie, Jaden and Camilla. They are our class representatives for the school council. Over the past few weeks, they have been planning and organising activities for the school Jubilee day, which will be held next Friday. They have shown a good level of commitment and have done an excellent job!

Parrot Class

 Our Learner of the week is Charlie. Charlie has developed a love of writing. He particularly enjoys writing on the large white board. Well Done Charlie!

Kingfisher Class

Sophie has really impressed us in Kingfisher Class this week with her knowledge and understanding of 2D and 3D shapes. She was able to describe them and sort them by their properties. Well done Sophie!

Falcon Class

Our learner of the week is William for much improved effort in his work and for writing a fantastic adventure story of his own!  Well done William keep up the hard work! :)

Owl Class

In Owl Class, Learner of the Week is Toby. Toby was unfortunately poorly on Tuesday so missed his Writing SAT tests. This meant that on Wednesday, when he returned to school, he had to complete the planned Maths tests as well as those he missed on Tuesday! Toby was determined to do his very best and kept going all day. Well done Toby for all the hard work!

Parrot Class

Our Learner of the week is Benjamin. Benjamin has recently joined Parrot Class. He tries hard in everything he does. During 'Busy Birds' time Benjamin wrote the numbers from 1-100. He set himself a challenge. Well Done Benjamin!

Kingfisher Class

In our Big Write this week Charley wrote a really impressive set of instructions for 'How to paint the perfect portrait'. She organised the page really well remembering to number her instructions which were full of bossy verbs. Well done, Charley!

Falcon Class

Abigail has been chosen as Learner of the Week for working really hard to learn her 2 and 10 times tables. A big well done Abigail and keep it up to learn all the other times tables!

Owl Class

Our Learner of the Week is Lewis P. Lewis has shown fantastic manners and is becoming much more confident. Mandy, our lunchtime supervisor, commented earlier on in the week about Lewis politeness and his superb manners. Mrs Bailey, who runs gardening club, has said how helpful Lewis has been during the club, especially helping adults and supporting younger children. This is really great to hear!

Parrot Class

Our Learner of the week is William. William has worked really hard on the formation of his letters. He has written some lovely sentences. Well Done William.

Kingfisher Class

Our Learner of the Week is Harrison. He has worked consistently well in all subjects. In Literacy, he managed to write some very clear, neat instructions using 'bossy' verbs and good time connectives. Great writing Harrison, keep it up!

Falcon Class

Toby is learner of the week for class 3.  He has improved his concentration and worked really hard in all subjects.  He has also been kind and helpful to others on his table helping them to complete tasks.  Well done Toby a great week!  Keep it up!

 Owl Class

Our Learner of the Week is Maia. Maia has really switched on this year and has been working hard in class and on her homework. Her story writing in Literacy lessons this week has been fantastic, achieving many of her targets! Maia, keep up the excellent work!
