Mrs Whitehouse-Sharpe has chosen Cerys for Learner of the Week. Cerys worked independently and really hard to create a recycled bug. It was really original!
Mrs Vail has chosen Oliver SS from the sock puppet workshop. Oliver worked all by himself and came up with an original idea for a sock puppet - a King Dragon!
Miss Evans has chosen Harrison. Harrison came up with his own idea for a spider which he then made all by himself, carefully attaching the legs.
Miss Dixon has chosen Lewis H for Learner of the Week. He worked very carefully to finish his bottle fish and then helped other children complete theirs. This was lovely to see.
Mrs Bailey has chosen Zoe from the Heart Art workshop. Zoe created a recycled heart and used a range of materials to decorate it.
Dolly made her own treasure map at home. Kara made an eye patch, hook and a hat. She dressed her teddy as a pirate with a costume she had made. Well done Dolly and Kara.
Our learner of the week this week is Liam P. He has worked so hard this week. Liam could have earned learner of the week for his literacy and big writing, but his work in numeracy was fantastic. Liam was able to use blocks to make measurements in the classroom. Well done Liam.
Our learner of the week is Lucy. Lucy is a conscientious pupil and always works hard, trying her best in every subject. Well done Lucy and keep it up!
Learner of the week is Becky. She made a bag for Jack to carry the gold coins from the Giant's castle. She selected her material and chose staples and masking tape to join it together. Well done Becky!
Both Lissie and Tiago have been chosen as learners of the week. In Literacy, they concentrated really well, worked independently and used their learning targets to help them achieve fantastic results!
This week we have been learning about shape poems. The class wrote a shape poem about a snail. Alice wrote a fantastic poem with good descriptive words. The children also had to write a poem about a strawberry and Alice came up with some great ideas!
Learner of the week is Lewis P. He has worked really hard this week and really tried his best in everything he has been asked to do. In particular, his Numeracy work has been excellent and he worked independently to produce fantastic work! Well done Lewis!

Our Learner of the Week this week is Leah. In our Big Write writing this week we looked at the painting ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’ by Henri Rousseau. We pretended we were in the painting and wrote about it. Leah worked really hard with her writing and wanted to share it in our class assembly. Well done Leah!
For our topic, the class are learning about World War II and for homework last week they had to write reply letters, as mum, back to Carrie or Nick who were evacuees. Alfie wrote a fantastic letter, meeting all of his success criteria, which he then read to the class. He has also been trying really hard with his maths in class. Well done!
Learner of the Week is Sophie-Louise. Sophie has been working really hard in class and at home. Her writing and Numeracy is really improving. She listens to advice given and works hard to meet her targets. Her homework is always completed well. Well done Sophie!
