In Kingfisher Class, Learner of the Week is Thomas W. He wrote a superb piece of writing this week during our Big Write session, using excellent word choices and adjectives. Well done Thomas!
We have two learners of the week this week!! Megan for fantastic work in maths, learning her number bonds and for helping others. James for superb mental maths, completing 24/24 subtraction calculations including subtracting from 3 and 4-digit numbers! Wow! Well done to both Megan and James :)
Our Learner of the week is Emily. Emily always works really hard in lessons and tries her best. This week she wrote a super poem in class which was all about her mum. A piece of writing to be proud of Emily, well done!
Learner of the week is Tom. Tom tries his very best all of the time. He made a book all about his Easter holiday. Tom is very supportive of the other children in Parrot class. Well done Tom!
Lukas is our learner of the week this week. He has worked really hard all week, and wrote a wonderful piece of writing for our SEAL lesson about his baby sister and why she is special to him. Well done Lukas for working so hard.
Our Learner of the Week is Isaac. I worked with Isaac earlier on in the week in Numeracy and was so impressed with his written methods for calculations. He remembered how to use the methods we had covered last term and completed his calculations accurately and confidently! Well done Isaac. Keep up the great work!
Learner of the week is Lucas. Lucas used his phonic knowledge to help him write a simple sentence. He always tries hard. Well done Lucas.
Georgia is our learner of the week this week. She wrote a wonderful shopping list for the Jumblies in literacy. Georgia came up with some super ideas for nonsense things for the Jumblies to buy and made sure she used lots of alliteration. Well done Georgia.
Chloe has been chosen as learner of the week for excellent work in numeracy. She was able to use the 3 and 4 timetables to help solve problems involving money. Well done Chloe!

Mrs Whitehouse-Sharpe has chosen Cerys for Learner of the Week. Cerys worked independently and really hard to create a recycled bug. It was really original!
Mrs Vail has chosen Oliver SS from the sock puppet workshop. Oliver worked all by himself and came up with an original idea for a sock puppet - a King Dragon!
Miss Evans has chosen Harrison. Harrison came up with his own idea for a spider which he then made all by himself, carefully attaching the legs.
Miss Dixon has chosen Lewis H for Learner of the Week. He worked very carefully to finish his bottle fish and then helped other children complete theirs. This was lovely to see.
Mrs Bailey has chosen Zoe from the Heart Art workshop. Zoe created a recycled heart and used a range of materials to decorate it.
