Learners of the Week

Parrot Class

Reception: Our Learner of the Week is Isabelle. This week Isabelle's attitude and enthusiasm for learning has been brilliant. She worked hard on learning new sounds and her understanding of shapes was amazing. Well done Isabelle.

Kingfisher Class

Year 1: This week our Learner of the Week is Rebecca. On Wednesday, we made fruit kebabs and Becky wrote a fabulous set of instructions that day after telling everyone how to make them. Great writing Becky!

Year 2: This week our Learner of the Week is Sam. This week Sam has shown real enthusiasm and enjoyment in everything we have done, and he is worked extremely hard. Well done Sam, keep it up!

Falcon Class

Year 3: Learner of the Week is Tiago for showing a really positive attitude towards all of his work, and for practising his reading at home on a daily basis!  Well done Tiago, keep it up!

Year 4:  Millie has been chosen as learner of the week for working really hard in Literacy.  She is improving her sentence structures, using a wide range of punctuation as well as powerful descriptive words and phrases!  Well done Millie, keep up the hard work!

Owl Class

Year 5: Learner of the Week is Will. Will wrote a superb resolution to his story today, using his plan to help him. He worked really hard to make his writing a high quality, using a range of punctuation and great vocabulary! Keep this up!

Year 6:  Jake is our Learner of the Week. Jake wrote a fantastic climax to his story yesterday in our Literacy lesson. We were all very impressed! Well done Jake.

Parrot Class

Reception: Our learner of the week is Neve for her amazing talking during our Big Talk. Neve was able to clearly and confidently talk about the photographs and items she brought in from home that showed what she was like as a baby. Well done Neve we loved hearing what you had to say.

Kingfisher Class

Year 1: Our learner of the week is Eddie who has put a lot of effort into his work this week and produced some excellent work in both Literacy and Numeracy. Well done Eddie!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Maemi who has been trying really hard with her learning this week and has made a real effort to improve her work. Well done Maemi, keep it up!

Falcon Class

Year 3: Our learner of the week is Phoebe for excellent work in numeracy.  She can add and subtract two multiples of 10 and two multiples of 100, as well as combinations of both.  Well done keep up the good work!

Year 4: Our learner of the week is Caitlin for fantastic work in numeracy.  She has been learning to add and subtract decimal tenths, and how to record her calculations uisng the column method.  Well done Caitlin keep up the hard work!

Owl Class

Year 5: Our learner of the week is Alfie. Alfie is working really hard in school and at home. I have been very impressed with his Numeracy this week in particular. Well done Alfie!

Year 6: Learner of the week in Year 6 is Charlotte. Charlotte has worked really hard on her Big Write this week, making sure she is using commas and speech conventions accurately! Great writing Charlotte!

Parrot Class

Reception: Our Learner of the Week is Thomas. Thomas has made a fantastic start in Parrot Class and has worked hard on the activities he has been asked to do. On Friday morning he concentrated on his counting for such a long time and he worked hard to make his word flower. Well done Thomas.

Kingfisher Class

Year 1: Our Learner of the Week is Aiden for his excellent story telling and story mapping.

Year 2: Our Learner of the Week is Henry because he has been a fantastic member of Kingfisher Class. He has demonstrated excellent learning behaviours and has been enthusiastic about everything we have done in class.

Falcon Class

Year 3: Our Learner of the Week is Harrison for his impressive artwork.  We have been looking at the technique called 'Pointillism', used by Georges Seurat.  Harrison took great care and imagination in creating his own pictures using this technique!

Year 4: Our Learner of the Week is Abigail for starting the new term with a very grown up attitude, and for staying focuded on tasks set particularly when working independently.  Well done, keep it up!

Owl Class

Year 5: Our Learner of the Week is Alice. Alice has made a fantastic start in Year 5 and is working so hard across subjects to produce some superb work! She has completed some great homework too! Well done Alice and keep going!

Year 6: In Year 6, Isaac is our Learner of the Week. He has been really focussed in our Numeracy lessons and has made a great start in Year 6! Keep it up Isaac!

Parrot Class

Reception: Our Learner of the Week is.Dolly. Dolly has made a zig-zag book about a snail. She used her knowledge of sounds to help her write independently. She tried very hard. Well done Dolly!

Kingfisher Class

Year 1: Our Learner of the Week is Chloe. Her work on sentence structure has been impressive and her attitude to her work is superb. Well done Chloe!

Year 2: Our Learner of the Week is Keeley. She made a book based on our Literacy work which was beautifully produced - just like a real book!

Year 5: Solly is Learner of the Week. In our Big Write yesterday Solly wrote a fantastic description of a windy scene, using superb vocabulary throughout and complex sentence structures. He should be really proud of his writing this year!

Year 6: Our Learner of the week is Chloe. Chloe can be relied upon to do her very best in everything! She always works hard and is helpful to other children in the school. Well done Chloe!
