This week our learner of the week is the whole of Jungle Class! The class have all been working very hard learning all of their sounds. We are so impressed with the enthusiasm they have shown when practicing them. Everyone works together as a team to improve and they enjoy a shared success! Well done Jungle Class.
Year 1: This week Amber is our learner of the week. I was very impressed with Amber's problem solving skills when making Da Vinci's parachute. She worked well with her talk partner exploring different ideas to solve the problem. Well done Amber!

Year 3: Congratulations Jenson, you are the Learner of the Week this week. You have been chosen as you have worked really hard on writing your newspaper report about the strange happenings in school on Monday 5th March! Jenson wrote a lovely report, including all the writing features required. Well done!
Year 4: Sydney is our Learner of the Week this week. She has worked really hard in maths and in particular with the word problems. Although she has foud them a challenge, she kept going and perservered to get them completed. Well done Sydney!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Ruby. Ruby has become much more focussed in our Numeracy lessons, showing a good commitment to her learning. You have worked hard this week Ruby. Keep this up!
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Charlie. Charlie has been eager to make his writing the best he can this week. He has been thinking really carefully about the content and punctuation that he is using. Well done Charlie!
Year 1: This week Elliot is our learner of the week. I can always rely on Elliot to listen carefully to instructions on the carpet. He never gives up, even when the task is challenging. Well done Elliot!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Ned. Ned shows great determination and perseverance in all his work. His 'have a go' attitude is an example to the rest of the class. Well done Ned!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Erin. I was really impressed with Erin’s handwriting during our piece of writing this week. She has tried incredibly hard to make her handwriting joined and neat. Her hard work has paid off! Well done Erin.
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Ryan. I am so impressed with Ryan’s ‘have a go’ attitude. No matter what the subject, Ryan will always give something a go even if he finds it difficult. Well done Ryan!
Year 5: Georgia is our learner of the week. She demonstrated good resilience in our maths lesson when faced with some arithmetic questions to complete. Georgia had a go and proved to herself that she can do it! Well done Georgia. Your work was impressive!
Year 6: Georgina is our learner of the week. She is focussed in lessons and listens to well. As year 6 practise test questions, Georgina is showing great improvements in her scores. Well done Georgina – the hard work is paying off. Keep it up!
Our learner of the week is Harry. Harry has done some wonderful work this week. He took on the role of the Troll to act out and re-tell the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff with his friends. Harry did such a great job remembering key phrases from the story and adapting them to make them his own. Well done Harry!
Year 1: This week Meme is our learner of the week.I have been impressed by Meme's 'have a go' attitude this week. He has managed to complete every task that he has been given and has persevered when they were challenging. Well done Meme!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Adam. I have been impressed with Adam's perseverance when tackling multiplication and division problems in Maths this week. He has certainly demonstrated a 'have a go' attitude towards his work. Well done Adam!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Darcie. Darcie has tried really in maths this week to ‘give it a go’ even if the work is tricky. This is something Darcie can find difficult so it has been lovely to see her having a go!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Joshy. Joshy has shown excellent teamwork this week and has been an incredibly kind learning buddy. He has encouraged his partner in their tasks ensuring that they are both equal in their partnership. Well done Joshy!
Year 5: Isabelle is our learner of the week. Isabelle is always enthusiastic in class, putting her hand up to provide answers and to explain her method. You have worked hard in our maths lessons this week. Well done Isabelle!
Year 6: Dexter is our learner of the week. He has been really focussed in our maths lessons this week and has shown a good understanding of algebra. When answering a SATs question today, Dexter demonstrated he had retained these skills and answered it confidently and accurately. Well done Dexter!
This week our learner of the week is Layton. Layton worked really hard to draw a very scary picture of a Troll. He then showed a real have a go attitude by selecting the sounds he needed to write a word to describe him. Well done Layton!
Year 1: This week Megan is our learner of the week. Magan can always be relied upon to 'have a go' at any activity we give her. If she finds it a little challenging, she perseveres and always tries her best. Well done Megan!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Barnaby. I have been impressed with Barnaby’s attitude towards his maths this week. He has persevered when he’s found things difficult and as a result has produced some great work. Well done Barnaby!
Our learners of the week are Hollie (year 4), Gracie and Verity (year 3). They have been chosen due to their excellent teamwork. They worked extremely hard together to write two verses of a rap poem which had excellent rhythm. They then worked together to rehearse and perform their poem with clarity and in unison. Well done girls!
Year 5: Alfie is our learner of the week. In Science, this week Alfie showed a great attitude and really had a go at the task set. He looked at the lizards carefully and considered why they were best suited to different environments. Well done Alfie!
Year 6: Zoe is our learner of the week. Zoe has shown great perseverance this week with her maths. She has shown a good understanding of factors, prime numbers, composite numbers and prime factors. Well done Zoe!
