Our learner of the week is Harry. Harry has done some wonderful work this week. He took on the role of the Troll to act out and re-tell the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff with his friends. Harry did such a great job remembering key phrases from the story and adapting them to make them his own. Well done Harry!
Year 1: This week Meme is our learner of the week.I have been impressed by Meme's 'have a go' attitude this week. He has managed to complete every task that he has been given and has persevered when they were challenging. Well done Meme!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Adam. I have been impressed with Adam's perseverance when tackling multiplication and division problems in Maths this week. He has certainly demonstrated a 'have a go' attitude towards his work. Well done Adam!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Darcie. Darcie has tried really in maths this week to ‘give it a go’ even if the work is tricky. This is something Darcie can find difficult so it has been lovely to see her having a go!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Joshy. Joshy has shown excellent teamwork this week and has been an incredibly kind learning buddy. He has encouraged his partner in their tasks ensuring that they are both equal in their partnership. Well done Joshy!
Year 5: Isabelle is our learner of the week. Isabelle is always enthusiastic in class, putting her hand up to provide answers and to explain her method. You have worked hard in our maths lessons this week. Well done Isabelle!
Year 6: Dexter is our learner of the week. He has been really focussed in our maths lessons this week and has shown a good understanding of algebra. When answering a SATs question today, Dexter demonstrated he had retained these skills and answered it confidently and accurately. Well done Dexter!
This week our learner of the week is Layton. Layton worked really hard to draw a very scary picture of a Troll. He then showed a real have a go attitude by selecting the sounds he needed to write a word to describe him. Well done Layton!
Year 1: This week Megan is our learner of the week. Magan can always be relied upon to 'have a go' at any activity we give her. If she finds it a little challenging, she perseveres and always tries her best. Well done Megan!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Barnaby. I have been impressed with Barnaby’s attitude towards his maths this week. He has persevered when he’s found things difficult and as a result has produced some great work. Well done Barnaby!
Our learners of the week are Hollie (year 4), Gracie and Verity (year 3). They have been chosen due to their excellent teamwork. They worked extremely hard together to write two verses of a rap poem which had excellent rhythm. They then worked together to rehearse and perform their poem with clarity and in unison. Well done girls!
Year 5: Alfie is our learner of the week. In Science, this week Alfie showed a great attitude and really had a go at the task set. He looked at the lizards carefully and considered why they were best suited to different environments. Well done Alfie!
Year 6: Zoe is our learner of the week. Zoe has shown great perseverance this week with her maths. She has shown a good understanding of factors, prime numbers, composite numbers and prime factors. Well done Zoe!
Our learner of the week is Gracie. Gracie has been working very hard this week with her number work. She has been trying hard and showing us a real "have a go" attitude towards her learning. Gracie has been solving number problems and adding 1 more to a number to 10. It is really good to see all of her hard work paying off. Well done Gracie!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Harvey-Jo. I have been very impressed with Harvey-Jo's 'have a go' attitude across all areas of the curriculum. Well done Harvey-Jo!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Hazel. Earlier in the week, some of the key stage 2 children had a hockey lesson. During this, Hazel went in goal against three year 6 boys. I was so impressed that she was up for the challenge and really ‘gave it a go.’ What a fantastic example she set for the other children. Well done Hazel!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Olivia. I have been really impressed with Olivia’s writing this week. She has worked incredibly hard to include everything that I have asked of her. She has ‘given everything a go’ and not been afraid to get it wrong. Well done!
Eve is our learner of the week. In our computing lesson, she was hesitant to work by herself but she had a go. Eve, this was good to see and you learned new skills in doing so. Well done!
Busy is also learner of the week. Busy has made good progress in our maths lessons this week, learning about percentages. She was observed explaining to her peers how to work out an answer which was supportive. Well done Busy.
Year 6: Alfie is our learner of the week. He has achieved really well in our maths lessons this week, showing a good understanding of percentages. Alfie was willing to have a go at the greater depth task to extend his learning further. Well done Alfie!

Gracie has been able to solve number problems and is now confident when adding 1 more to a number to 10 and beyond. It is really great to see all of her hard work paying off. Well done Gracie!

Year 2: Our learner of the week is Eli. I was so impressed with your independent writing this morning. You persevered and 'had a go' and have produced some brilliant writing. Well done Eli!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Aksharan. Aksharan is always up for a challenge and will ‘give everything a go.’ He understands that he may not find the correct answer to begin with but tries anyway. No challenge fazes him! Well done Aksharan.
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Henry. Henry always ‘gives it a go.’ Whatever challenge may face him, he consistently tries his best and strives to find the solution. Well done Henry, you set an excellent example!
Year 5: Darcey is our learner of the week. She has shown good reciprocity skills in class, assisting her peers when they were finding something tricky. Thank you Darcey for being so supportive. Well done!
Year 6: Aiden is our learner of the week. Aiden has shown great perseverance this week with his writing. He has edited and improved his writing based on The Piano. He has started writing up his final version in his Wow Write book and will finish this next week. Well done Aiden - you have produced fantastic piece of writing.
