Our learner of the week is Amber. Amber has been working hard in all that she does. In particular she has shown a real talent for dance in our PE lessons. She is creative and imaginative, using music to influence her. Well done Amber, you have had a fantastic week.
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Susie. It has not gone unnoticed how much effort Susie is putting in to learning all her sounds, blending them in her reading and segmenting them in her spelling. Keep up the hard work Susie!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Daisy. Daisy is so enthusiastic across all areas of the curriculum, especially in our topic work. She does extra work at home and has even visited London to see where the Great Fire took place.
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Joshy. Joshy has worked incredibly hard to improve his handwriting over the last few weeks. He is taking his time to make sure that it is joined and correctly formed. Well done Joshy!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Skye. Skye has settled really well into Ocean Class. She listens carefully, works hard and tries her best in everything she does. Well done Skye!
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Zack. When writing this morning, he thought carefully about his sentence then sounded out his words, making sure there were finger spaces between them. Well done Zack!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Antonia. She has worked extremely hard improving her spelling over the last few weeks, including doing extra work at home. As a result her spelling is much improved. Keep up the hard work Antonia!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Henry. Henry has been trying really hard with his handwriting over the last few weeks. It is much neater and is beginning to be joined. Well done Henry!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Busy. I have been really impressed with Busy’s work on time this week. Despite being a tricky topic, Busy has really persevered and really impressed the adults in the class. Well done!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Zoe. Zoe has an excellent work ethic and always works with real commitment in all curriculum areas. She is a really empathetic person, who is always keen to help others. She is an excellent ambassador for Year 5.
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Sophie. Sophie is becoming much more resilient in her attitude to challenging work, and always tries her best in all subject areas. She is always keen to improve her work, whether working with her peers or on her own. Sophie is always kind and helpful to adults and children alike.
Our Learner of the week is Elie.
Elie has been trying very hard this week to make sure she helps keep our classroom tidy. She will help others to take care of our things to ensure we always have lovely resources to use in our learning. Elie is also working very hard to improve her number recognition and counting. Well done Elie!
Molly is our Year 1 learner of the week. Molly has been showing a mature attitude in our phonics sessions this week. She has been listening carefully and concentrating on the sounds within words. I have been very impressed Molly, well done!
Our Year 2 learner of the week is Darcie. It has not gone unnoticed the pride you take in your work. Your presentation across all areas of the curriculum is second to none. Keep it up!
Our Year 3 learner of the week is Sam. Sam has worked incredibly hard to improve his handwriting. He is now consistently producing neat, joined handwriting. Well done Sam!
Our Year 4 learner of the week is Ava. Ava has had a fantastic week this week. She has been listening carefully, putting her hand up during our RE discussions and has produced some fantastic work. Well done Ava!
Our learner of the week is Tom D. Tom always makes a super effort in all areas of learning so he has made really good progress so far this term. Tom is a bubbly and energetic boy who is always keen to help others. He is a good ambassador for Year 5.
Our learner of the week is Chloe. Chloe has made real progress in becoming an independent learner and has made some excellent progress in maths this half term. Furthermore, she has made super progress with her written work - especially in her WOW Writes where she is producing excellent work.

Thomas has been a very helpful member of the class this week. He always helps to tidy up the class room and lend a hand to others. Thomas has also been working very hard with learning all of his letter sounds and is beginning to use what he knows to write some words. Well done Thomas!

Year 2: Our Year 2 learner of the week is Gracie. Gracie is always looking at ways to improve her writing. She listens to advice, reads through her work and as a result produces some fantastic work. Keep up the hard work!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Ryan. Over the past few weeks, Ryan has shown a really positive attitude towards his learning. He has been working hard and trying to complete tasks. Well done Ryan!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Alfie. Alfie has been chosen for his kind and friendly behaviour towards others. This is something that is consistent and is a great example for others to follow.
Year 5: Our Learner of the Week is Calum. Calum is a really hard working and enthusiastic learner who is making real progress with all areas, but especially in maths. Calum is a really helpful person to all the children in Desert class as well as all the adults!
Year 6: Our Learner of the Week is Lukas. Lukas has a made real progress in becoming an independent learner and is starting to ask for help more quickly when he needs it. Lukas has also been really positive about managing his feelings, as well as realising that he can improve his writing in small steps.
