Reception: Our learner of the week this week is Isabella. She has done so well settling into school and getting used to all the new routines. Isabella has quickly become a very confident and independant member of the class, Well done Isabella!
Year 1: This week Amber is our learner of the week. Amber is an example to the rest of the class. She always listens carefully, tries her best and as a result has produced some fantastic work. Well done1
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Pippa. It has not gone unnoticed how quickly you get settled in class, especially with our start of the day spelling activity. Keep up the hard work!
Year 3: Our learner of the week is Verity. I am really impressed with how hard Verity works on her independent tasks. Mrs Proyer was also impressed with Verity this week when they were working together to improve her Wow Write. Verity worked really hard during this time and had some excellent ideas.
Year 4: Our learner of the week is Sam. Sam has had a fantastic start to year 4. He has shown a really positive attitude towards his learning, working hard and fulfilling his potential within lessons. Well done Sam - keep it up!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Ruby. In class, we have been linking our writing to Oliver Twist. Ruby has been really focussed and has produced fantastic pieces of writing. Well done Ruby! I have enjoyed reading your work. :)
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Tom. Tom has made a great start to Year 6. He puts 100% into everything he is asked to do. Tom completed extra tasks on SPaG.com to practise and improve further also. This is great! Well done Tom.
Our Learner of the week this week is Ariana. Ariana has settled very well in to Jungle Class and has shown herself to be a very helpful and kind member of the class. She has even helped others when she has finished a task. Well done Ariana you have had a very good week!
Year 1: This week Theo is our learner of the week. In Woodland Class we are working hard on improving our listening skills and Theo is an example to the rest of the class. He always listens carefully on the carpet and as a result has produced some pleasing pieces of work. Well done Theo!
Year 2:Our learner of the week is Isabelle. Isabelle has shown a positive attitude towards her work this week. She listens carefully, remembers to put her hand up to answer questions and tries her best in her independent work. Well done Isabelle!
Year 3: Our learner of the week is Hazel. I was so impressed with Hazel's maths work this morning; she worked independently whilst add and subtracting 100. She produced fantastic work and worked her way up through the learning ladder. Well done Hazel!
Year 4: Our learner of the week is Ella. I have been really impressed with Ella's attitude since being in Year 4. She has been working incredibly hard in all subjects and has been trying hard to work her way up the learning ladder. Well done Ella, keep it up!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Ryan. Ryan has made a great start to Year 5. I am particularly impressed with his Numeracy work so far: he has been working hard and moving up the learning ladder to make good progress in our lessons. His work is also presented logically and neatly. Well done Ryan! Keep this up.
Year 6: Aiden is our learner of the week. Aiden has scored so many presentation points this week - every piece of his work is beautifully presented. He is really taking pride in his work which is fantastic to see. Well done Aiden!
Year 1: This week Annie is our Learner of the week. Annie has had a brilliant start to Woodland Class. She listens carefully on the carpet, puts her hand up to answer questions and always tries her best. Well done Annie!
Year 2: Our learner of the week is Zack. Zack has had a fantastic start to Year 2, demonstrating a positive attitude towards his work. I was particularly impressed with his independent writing about his holiday. Well done Zack!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Erin. Erin sets an excellent example to others particularly whilst on the carpet. She sits quietly, listens carefully and often puts her hand up to share her ideas. A fantastic start to the year Erin!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Sydney. Sydney has made a brilliant start to year 4 especially with her behaviour towards others. She has been kind and caring towards the younger members of the class; often showing them where things are and what to do. Well done Sydney!
Year 5: This week Eve is our learner of the week. Eve worked really hard in our first Numeracy lesson this week and I was really impressed with her resilience. Well done Eve and keep this up!
Year 6: This week Lucas is our learner of the week. His motivation and effort this week has been excellent. His presentation of his work has been good also. A good start to Year 6 - keep going!
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Isabelle. I was very impressed with your painting of Monet's 'Water Lily Pond'. You took your time and used different shades to create the effect of light and dark. Well done!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Ryan. I have been very impressed with your work on partitioning this week. When working independently, you were focused and managed to complete the task and move onto the next one. Well done Ryan!
Year 3: All our Year 3 chidlren are learners of the week. They have worked incredibly hard this week during their assessments and have also developed their independent skills whilst the Year 4 children having been doing their tests. Well done Year 3!
Year 4: All of our children are learners of the week. They have all worked extremely hard during their assessments; they have all focussed well and tried their best in all of their tests. Well done Year 4!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Tom. I have been impressed with Tom's work in the year 5 SAT tests this week, in particular the maths papers. Tom is really starting to show us his full potential. Keep up the excellent work, Tom!
Year 6: Abi is our learner of the week. Abi always works hard in every lesson and challenges herself to reach the top of the learning ladders. Well done Abi!
