Year 3: This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Ava. In maths we have been learning about fractions. Ava was an absolute whizz; she was able to find fractions of amounts and even could even draw her own
fractions correctly.

Year 4: Congratulations to Tabatha who is our Year 4 learner of the week. Tabatha has worked incredibly hard in maths where we have been learning about decimals. I even had to give her an extra task as she had completed them all!

Desert Class

Year 5: Our learner of the week is Lukas. Lukas has had a great week in class. He has been focussed in lessons and produced some excellent work. Well done Lukas and keep this up!

Year 6: Oliver and Tom are both learners of the week because I just couldn't choose between them. Both of them worked incredibly hard today on their Big Write and produced pieces of writing which we never realised they could do! The presentation, sentence structures and vocabulary were so much better than previous pieces. Well done and now you have to keep this up!

Year 1:  Our Learner of the Week is Jenson.  He has worked so hard this week on both his Literacy and Numeracy work.  Well done Jenson!

Year 2:  Eilah is our Learner of the Week.  This week Eilah has worked so hard in Numeracy and has had an excellent attitude to her learning.  Well done Eilah!

Year 5: Our learner of the week is Tom. In Literacy, Tom's writing has been detailed, with great vocabulary and lots of adverbial phrases to add extra details. You have written some interesting pieces this week - well done Tom!

Year 6: Harrison is our learner of the week. In Numeracy this week, the Year 6s have been multiplying two-digit numbers by two, three and four-digit numbers, using the formal column method. Harrison has completed some excellent calculations and shown good perseverance, making corrections to any that he had made errors on. Well done Harrison - fantastic maths this week!

Jungle Class

Reception:  Our learner of the week is Philippa.  We have been so impressed with how hard Philippa has worked on learning her sounds and using her phonic skills.  She is now able to blend sounds and read words and she is beginning to be able to hear the different sounds in words and write them down to spell the words out.  Well done Philippa, keep up the fantastic learning!

Woodland Class

Year 1:  In Year 1, Sebbie is our learner of the week.  Despite changes in his routine this week, he has come into school and listened carefully, worked very hard and been especially polite to adults in the class.  Well done Sebbie!

Year 2:  In Year 2, our learner of the week is Ryan F.  He has concentrated very carefully on his work this week.  He is growing in confidence all the time and is now able to fully complete tasks independently.  Well done Ryan!

Ocean Class

Year 3:This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Eve. We have been working in teams to make catapults. Eve was so kind and helpful towards her team members; she made sure that they were all able to take part in
the challenge.

Year 4: Congratulations to Will who is our Year 4 learner of the week. Will worked really well during PE where the children were teaching each other games. He made sure that everyone was listening and was incredibly patient with children who were finding it tricky.

Desert Class

Year 5: Patrick is our learner of the week. He is focussed in class and works really hard. I have been impressed with his learning in our maths lessons recently. Well done Patrick. Keep it up!

Year 6: Katie is our learner of the week. She worked really well in our RE lessons this week and was creative when creating her poem today. Katie's finished poem was well presented and well thought through. A lovely piece of writing, Katie. Well done!

Jungle Class

Reception:  Our learner of the week is Isabelle for her fantastic maths. We have been learning about how to find out 1 more than a number. At the beginning of the game we were playing Isabelle was using objects to find out what was 1 more, by the end of the game she didn't need the objects and was able to recall what was 1 more than the number she had chosen. She was so keen to carry on with her maths that she went to see what another group was doing and decided that she wanted to try their activity to! Well done Isabelle.

Woodland Class

Year 1: Our learner of the week is Jessica.  She has been working really well and listening superbly to instructions.  Jessica has picked up the concepts of doubling and sharing really well.  Her attitude and participation has been outstanding this week.  Well done Jessica.

Year 2:  Our learner of the week is Henry.  He has been working really hard and contributing well in maths lessons.  Henry is showing a more confident attitude to his learning.  Well done Henry, keep up the hard work.

Ocean Class

Year 3: This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Isabelle. We have been working hard this week to work independently. Isabelle always works really hard during maths making sure that she has a go before asking an adult.

Year 4: Congratulations to Tabatha who is our Year 4 learner of the week. We have been working on lots of tricky concepts involving measures this week. Tabby has worked really hard and produced some fantastic work!

Desert Class

Year 5: Our learner of the week is Chloe. Her maths today was very impressive! Year 5 were multiplying by 9 and 99 by using known facts. Chloe understood the method taught really well and practised her skills by completing lots of questions! She challenged herself and reached the top of her learning ladder! Well done Chloe.

Year 6: Will and Sophia are learners of the week. In Literacy, the children were editing a free verse poem to make it their own. Will and Sophia worked really well together and created an original poem. Well done to you both!
