Our Learner of the Week is Meg. Meg has really impressed this week with her teamwork and attitude towards group activities. During a PE session, Meg worked as part of a team and encouraged others to work together to achieve a group objective. Well done Meg, you have had a fantastic week!
Year 1 and Year 2
Our Learners of the Week are Charlie and Antonia. In Woodland Class we held a competition to see how many times we could bounce a ball in a hoop for their partner to catch. Charlie and Antonia worked cooperatively and managed to bounce and catch the ball (without dropping it) 23 times in 30 seconds! Well done!
Year 3 and Year 4
Our Learners of the Week are Matilda and Georgia. Ocean Class held a competition to see who could devise the best gymnastics sequence. Matilda and Georgia showed fantastic teamwork whilst working on their sequence. They managed to include all of the required elements and gave a wonderful performance. Well done girls!
Our Learner of the Week is Will. He has made, improved and performed an excellent dance routine on his own, incorporating spinning, moon walking and jazz dance moves. He won the overall Class 4 dance competition as 'The One and Only.'
Our Learners of the Week are: Liam, Lukas, Adam, Rupert, Henry and Sam. Working as a team, these boys known as 'The Fancy Foes', created and improved a stylish and snappy dance routine involving street dance and collaborative work.
Reception: Our Learner of the week is Samuel. Samuel has shown real dedication and enthusiasm in his learning over the last few weeks. He always tries his best and joins in with activities with a smile. Samuel’s hard work is really showing in his ability to learn his letter sounds and his number work. Well done Samuel.
Year 1: This week our learner of the week is Jai. It has not gone unnoticed how well you have been listening and taking part in whole class discussions. What a super star!
Year 2: Our Year 2 learner of the week is Toby. We have all been very impressed with Toby this week as he has been a super friend, asking other children to come and play his games.
This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Nathan. I have been so impressed with Nathan’s attitude towards learning this week. He has been listening carefully, putting his hand up and trying really hard with his writing. Well done Nathan!
Congratulations to Neve who is our Year 4 learner of the week. Neve wrote a wonderful description of her dragon egg earlier in the week. She used a range of language and sentence openers to create a fantastic piece of work!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Alfie. He is settling really well into Year 5 and has made good progress so far. Alfie is beginning to work really well independently and sets high standards for himself. He is always friendly, helpful and cheerful.
Year 6: Our Year 6 learner of the week is Liam. Liam is a really positive influence in Year six. He works well on his own and is trying hard to improve his work ethic. He is a really helpful member of Desert Class and will help anyone who needs it.
Our Learner of the week is Rosie.
Rosie has worked very hard this week and shown a real determination to master difficult activities. She has always tried her best and persevered when things have been a challenge. Well done Rosie you have had a fantastic week.
Year 1: This week our learner of the week is Jack. Jack is listening carefully and his work on ‘Time’ this week has been very impressive. Well done Jack, keep up the hard work!
Year 2: Our Year 2 learner of the week is Jenson. I have been very impressed with your positive attitude towards your learning this week. The beginning of your fantasy story was fantastic, making good vocabulary choices and remembering punctuation. I can’t wait to read the rest of it!
Year 3:This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Bobbie. I was really impressed when Bobbie came to me the other morning to show me where a pronoun should have been used in his reading book. It was fantastic to see that he had been using his new knowledge of pronouns outside of school!
Year 4: Congratulations to Georgia, who is our Year 4 learner of the week. Georgia has entered Year 4 with confidence. She is working incredibly hard in all areas, using last year’s learning to help her. Georgia is doing all of this with a smile!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Tom. He is an enthusiastic learner who always tries his best. Tom is always ready to help around the classroom and help other children who may need advice. Well done!
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Megan. She works really hard and has an excellent focus on whatever task she is doing. She is also very helpful around the classroom.
Our Learner of the week is Amber.
Amber has worked really hard all week. She did some brilliant counting and ordering of numbers and was able to spot the missing numbers in a number line. Amber has also been fantastic at learning her new letter sounds and writing them with confidence. Well done Amber you have had a fantastic week.
Year 1 : This week our learner of the week is Ned. Ned has settled quickly into Year 1 and is an extremely enthusiastic member of Woodland Class. He listens carefully, shares his ideas sensibly and always gives 100% effort. Well done Ned and keep up the hard work!
Year 2: Our Year 2 learner of the week is Aksharan, our magnificent mathematician! He’s enthusiastic, enjoys a challenge and is always ready to share his knowledge with the rest of the class. Well done Aksharan!
Year 3: This week our Year 3 learner of the week is Matilda. Matilda’s behaviour sets an excellent behaviour towards others. She always listens carefully and tries really hard with her work. Well done Matilda!
Year 4: Congratulations to Thomas who is our Year 4 learner of the week! Thomas has had a fantastic week. He has worked really hard on the numbers 1-5 and was able to clearly write them. Well done Thomas!
Year 5: Our Learner of the Week is Zoe. She always shows superb learning behaviour and is always ready to help others.
Year 6: Our Learner of the Week is Patrick. He is a very friendly and helpful member of the class. He is an active learner and works well in all subjects.
