Our Learner of the week is Samuel. Samuel has had a really good week. He has involved himself fully in all activities inside the class room and out. Samuel has been very good at communicating his thoughts and needs to his friends and teachers which has really boosted his confidence. Welll done Samuel!
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Adam. When we were looking at the ilustrations in The Whales' Song, he thought of some fantastic reasons why he liked the picture. Adam then independently wrote these reasons in his book, remembering his punctuation and using 'because'. Well done Adam!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Jenson. I can always rely on Jenson to rise to a challenge and this week has been no exception. You have worked incredibly hard in Maths this week, I am extremely impressed!
Year 3: Our learner of the week is Ryan. Ryan has been working incredibly hard recently and I am really impressed with his attitude towards learning. I was particularly impressed with his amazing wow write earlier in the week. Well done Ryan!
Year 4: Our learner of the week is Ryan. I was so impressed with Ryan's musical ability over the course of our 'Samba' lessons. He showed excellent listening skills and always played with fantastic use of rhythm.
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Alfie. Alfie has made great progress with learning to work independently, especially in maths. He is an enthusiastic learner who will always help others if asked, particularly with writing.
Year 6: Our year 6 learner of the week is Patrick. Patrick is a lively and bubbly influence in year 6 and has made excellent progress, especially with his SPaG and maths work. Patrick is an enthusiastic learner and is always looking for ways to improve his work.
Our learner of the week is Tianna. Tianna has really impressed us this week with her creative ideas. She has planned and helped to write the introduction to our assembly and she even thought about what we could say in the end of assembly prayer. Well done Tianna!
Our second learner of the week is Harley. Harley has been a really enthusiastic learner this week. He has shown a real interest in our bean growing project and offered up his ideas about how we can help them grow into healthy plants. He has also contributed towards our assembly by planning and making props. Well done Harley!
Our Year 1 learner of the week is Amelie. Amelie approaches all aspects of school life with enthusiasm. She always gives 100% effort in all her work across the curriculum, and is constantly looking at ways to improve. Well done Amelie!
Our Year 2 learner of the week is Sebbie. I have been very impressed with Sebbie's attitude towards his learning over the past few weeks. He's listening carefully, answering questions and producing some very pleasing pieces of work. Keep up the hard work Sebbie!
Our learner of the week is Joshua. I have been so impressed with Joshua's mature attitude towards his learning this week. He has been making sensible choices and trying incredibly hard with his work. Well done Joshua!
Our learner of the week is Albie. Albie has been chosen due to his enthusiasm towards all aspects of school. He is always cheerful, polite and ready to learn. You are an excellent example Albie!
Our Learner of the Week is Georgina. She continues to work really hard in all subjects, and is making great progress; particularly with her writing and comprehension.
Our Learner of the Week is Adam. Adam is a positive and lively influence in Year 6 and has made excellent progress especially with his writing and spelling. He is always enthusiastic about improving his work and will always help others if asked.
Our learner of the week is Amber. Amber has been working hard in all that she does. In particular she has shown a real talent for dance in our PE lessons. She is creative and imaginative, using music to influence her. Well done Amber, you have had a fantastic week.
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Susie. It has not gone unnoticed how much effort Susie is putting in to learning all her sounds, blending them in her reading and segmenting them in her spelling. Keep up the hard work Susie!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Daisy. Daisy is so enthusiastic across all areas of the curriculum, especially in our topic work. She does extra work at home and has even visited London to see where the Great Fire took place.
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Joshy. Joshy has worked incredibly hard to improve his handwriting over the last few weeks. He is taking his time to make sure that it is joined and correctly formed. Well done Joshy!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Skye. Skye has settled really well into Ocean Class. She listens carefully, works hard and tries her best in everything she does. Well done Skye!
Year 1: Our Year 1 learner of the week is Zack. When writing this morning, he thought carefully about his sentence then sounded out his words, making sure there were finger spaces between them. Well done Zack!
Year 2: Our learner of the week for Year 2 is Antonia. She has worked extremely hard improving her spelling over the last few weeks, including doing extra work at home. As a result her spelling is much improved. Keep up the hard work Antonia!
Year 3: Our Year 3 learner of the week is Henry. Henry has been trying really hard with his handwriting over the last few weeks. It is much neater and is beginning to be joined. Well done Henry!
Year 4: Our Year 4 learner of the week is Busy. I have been really impressed with Busy’s work on time this week. Despite being a tricky topic, Busy has really persevered and really impressed the adults in the class. Well done!
Year 5: Our learner of the week is Zoe. Zoe has an excellent work ethic and always works with real commitment in all curriculum areas. She is a really empathetic person, who is always keen to help others. She is an excellent ambassador for Year 5.
Year 6: Our learner of the week is Sophie. Sophie is becoming much more resilient in her attitude to challenging work, and always tries her best in all subject areas. She is always keen to improve her work, whether working with her peers or on her own. Sophie is always kind and helpful to adults and children alike.
