We provide a daily hot lunch service for all pupils at the school. The two course lunches, which are cooked on site offer pupils a balanced and nutritious meal with a choice of vegetarian and meat-based main courses.
From September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free school meals as part of the new government initiative.
If your child has special dietary requirements, these can usually be catered for and we ask you to discuss with the School Office.
Meals are served in the School Hall and must be ordered in advance on line at myschoolmeals.co.uk. Each child has a unique login code. If you have not got a copy of your child's login please contact the school office. Meals can still be ordered through the school office and orders for any week must be received by 10.00am on the Monday of the preceding week. When Bank Holidays fall on a Monday then ordering deadlines may change. Please call at the School Office for current menus.
The current cost of a school meal is £2.30.
Local authorities are able to grant free school meals to children whose parents/guardians receive Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, or in some instances Child Tax Credit. Find out more at Dorset for You website. Application forms are also available in the School Office where assistance with completing forms is available if requested.
Any pupil who prefers to bring a packed lunch is welcome to do so. Trolleys for storing packed lunches are provided outside each classroom.
